Anyone driven a cerb (mine is quite low) onto the ferry at sandbanks (Poole)? Might try it this weekend with kids and wife in car. But the ramps are quite scarey. Not sure if it will get on. Gary.

Were either of you guys in the very cool looking grey Cerbera parked just before the peninsula that I beeped at yesterday? (i was driving past in my Chimaera enjoying the sun)

ive seen both cerbs and tuscans on the sandbanks ferry with no problem.
p.s. the angle of ram changes with the height of the tide so don't no if this is a factor or not.

came back to Guernsey on monday using the Poole ferry.
No problems getting on, but tell the staff at checkin that you need plenty of space to open the doors (you'll not get out otherwise), & check if the ferry has a multi-storey upwards loading system ( the channel island seacats have this), if it has you will struggle with the tight turns & Ground clearance.

Darren.

You should not have a problem. We took our RR earlier in the year with the Dorset mob.As you come down the concrete ramp up to the ferry ramp approach at 45 degrees.
