Just a heads up, the Gatso on the Avon Ring Road @ Filton going from Abbeywood/Filton Ave, up to the A38 Glos Rd has been replaced by a Moneytron prob about 10metres before the old camera.

Bear it in mind eh

Nope, the one I am talking about is on the ring road heading up towards the A38. You have a Moneytron as a red light cam just past the railway bridge, then further up you had a pair of gatso's. The one just before the pelican crossing has been replaced by a Moneytron a few metres before the old gatso, and might therefore catch someone out.

Yep - spotted that myself last week; its the old GATSO on Station Road near the traffic lights heading up towards the A38 roundabout...
There's now a Monitron a little way in front of the GATSO. If experience from other sites is repeated, eventually the GATSO will be removed.

There is a Monitron on the A38 proper also heading towards the same roundabout (just by Rolls Royce) which has indeed been there a while but the one we're talking about is new in the last week or so.

why do they still insist on rear facing cameras when places like Holland and Germany stopped years back (or at the time I worked there tehy were all turned off)

Surely forward facing would stop any "wasnt me" arguments dead
