Hi

I'm currently researching my next car, with a view to purchasing in June/July, and a 156 2.4 JTD is currently at the top of the pile. But Alfa's trim branding is confussing me; Lusso, Sport, Super, Turismo, Veloce... What does it all mean?

Ideally I'd be looking for a facelifted car with the multijet engine. I'd want the sportiest suspension package offered, I'm guessing this would be the sport?, with leather, a CD Changer and climate control. After that I'm not really fussed.

What trim levels do I need to be looking at?

TIA

Martin

Turismo - entry level
Lusso - luxury
Super - really luxury - only on 166s
Veloce - sporty (before 2001 known as Sport Pack).
Ti - extra bits on top of Veloce. Only on post 2003 156 facelift cars.

You need to find a Veloce or Ti with Leather trim (most have). All facelift cars have climate contol and single CD slots in the dash. A compatible CD changer is available which will work off the steering wheel controls and standard head unit.

Good luck - they are cracking cars.

Oh ta... Makes a bit more sense.

Any horror stories to running a 2.4 I should know about, engine out cambelt change or something?
