I'm about to fit a 4 channel amp in the boot. By disconecting the battery to connect the power lead for the amp to it, what problems am i going to find with regards the alarm etc?
None hopefully! If the alarm does go off reset it with the key fob.
Bear in mind that as soon as you reconnect the battery the central locking will activate so don't leave the key inside the car. Also don't forget to leave the boot open before disconnecting the battery.

I've also heard that i could connect the power lead from the amp to the power terminal behind the fuse box in the boot, thus eliminating the need to feed the cable through the bulk head to the boot. Anyone else done it this way.
