I'm thinking of coming back into the TVR fold, (Tuscan or Tamora). My main concern is and always has been running costs. Its not necessarily an issue about being able to afford them, its more about justifying high costs to myself, (I currently run a VX Turbo, which costs bugger all to keep on the road).
With the opening of the SSCC servicing facility, I was hoping for a local indy that was going to be a lot cheaper that HHC. But it this true?
Anyone used them for S6 servicing recently and would like to comment on charges?
What other local options have people found?

Not decided for sure yet, but everything else I've looked at is too boring or too expensive!
Need to sell the VX as I'm having problems getting in and out now.

Tony,

My Tuscan costs are up to date if you want to scare yourself. With potential replacement of the Tusc, mine will be up for sale in the next month or so if you are interested.

Not back yet John! Got to psych myself up for the major step up in running costs.

Tonto,
Pure service costs are around 12p per mile + VAT at main dealer (assuming 6000 miles per year). All other incidentals are the same as a Griff or a Chim, give or take!

You'll love a Tamora.

Bob,

Costs checked out and I'm now scared!

Some of the costs don't directly relate from my car to your Tuscan, but the one figure that is scarey is your (mean) annual service/repair cost of £1800. I currently pay £200 for service/repair.
