Hi there,

I posted some pics on Tuesday of an XJ220 I had seen parked on a side street in Stoke on Trent.

Well I was in Stoke again today and decided to drive past the same place again to see if it was still there.

I turned the corner and nearly crashed my car when I saw what was parked there today.

I had to get out of my car and have a closer look.

3 XJ220's in the same place and was especially chuffed to have seen the Yellow XJ220S.

As I got back in my car and drove away I noticed something else parked up a side street next to the building: -

This is an original Jaguar XJR12 that competed at Le Mans in 1990.

I have since found out that this building is actually home to Don Law Racing a company that services and repairs about 70% of the XJ220's in existence.

What a day after this I had to go home and lie down in a dark room.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Regards

Tim

I was past by Justin during the summer, I think it was, I was doing a respectable speed on the motorway and this BRG Mark 2 hammered past me, all decalled up for racing, he must've left something in Stoke that he needed!

My god the police would have a field day with the XJR.

No number plates
No indicators
No type approval
4 non road legal tyres
No insurance
No tax disc
No V5

They would tow it away and scrap it.

Nice spotted!

I am sure it is very well insured considering how historically valuable it is. As for indicators, it does have them, they need to be almost MOT-able to pass scruitineering at Le Mans.

Sorry for being anal!
