Brands Hatch, Crystal Palace & Silverstone.
E.g Here's James Hunt at the 1969 Guards Trophy F3 race at Brands Hatch.
And Derek Bell in the only appearance of the 4WD McLaren M9A at the 1969 British GP at SIlverstone.

1983 was the last of the traditional International Race of Champions - won by Keke Rosberg in the Williams.
Remember that race well. Didn't Keke have a badly blistered tyre yet still managed to hold off Danny Sullivan's Tyrrell 012? IIRC, that race also saw the debut of the turbocharged Honda engine, in the back of Stefan Johansson's Spirit.
You might need to register first but you can download the 79 & 83 ROC here...a fabulous site for catching up on archived motorsport videos.

The 1983 Race of Champions was the last ever "current era" non World Championship F1 race.
Permission to run the race was granted by Bernie Ecclestone in order to allow the British public their first glimpse of the new flat bottomed/non-ground effect F1 cars of 1983. Some teams only brought one car and Ferrari, Renault, Ligier and Alfa Romeo didn't bother turning up.

'Gerald' used to post on here, and put up some great photos that aren't up on his site. things like Graham hill in a lightweight E type on the way to the grid, and a DB4 zagato in the paddock.
