I seem to have bust the zip on my Sparco race suit .

Does anybody know where i can get the zip renewed - im based in Manchester.

To do the repair "properly" you need nomex thread and all that nonsense. Give DT a call they may be able to help. I've a friend in Customer Services PM me and I'd pass on the contact details if you want.

Hi Darren,

Had the same problem last year took it back to DT where it was purchased and they got it replaced. FOC as the warranty is 2 years in my case.

I also used Demon Tweeks - can't remember the cost but it wasn't eye watering.

Rang Demon Tweeks later today,seems they dont carry out repairs any more, but can provide a Nomex Zip if i give them the overall length.

Iain, pies are'nt to blame on this occasion , it was the pre qualifying Bacon Butties ..

they manufacture suits and general racewear so I'm sure they would put a zip in for you.
Unfortunately they are based in Ashford, Kent but you could always post them.
I bought a suit from them last year and they were very helpful
