Hi

I'm a 31 year old Mechanical Engineer, with an HNC. I have a background in component manufacturing for Capital OEM and Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

I have experience of all aspects of estimating, from receipt of enquiry thorough to calculating a price on Excel based spreadsheets. Presentation of technical proposals to customers; including Honda, Ford, Rover, Land Rover, Jaguar. Also have experience in budgetary control and management reporting.

Looking for a role within a commuting distance of Stamford / Bourne area south Lincolnshire.

We have only just moved 9 weeks ago, so we are not intersted in relocating just now.

Email me for a full CV.

Thanks for looking.

Quantica, redwood and matchTech are the big Recruitment agencies for Engineering.

Read up on Lean, value Stream Mapping, etc and 6 sigma - At least understand what the tools are used.

Don't know if you have a Manpower employment agency near you, but if so might be worth contacting as they've just been recruiting lots of people nationwide to become NVQ assessors and sounds like you'd be ideally qualified (unlike me rolleyes). Might have enough now but worth a go. Good luck.
