.........expected to be the Bullitt cool

This Photoshop is likely to be pretty accurate:

Looks like it'll be launched (pun intended) at the San Francisco motorshow in November.

Hmm, wonder what will make it special, apart from the colour and wheels? The last one had a bit more go.

The previous Bullitt was something like 15-25 bhp more, or the same as the current Shelby GT (325bhp). I don't reckon this new one will have any more than that.

Still Dark Highland Green will suit it well.

What we really need is an engine rated around 400bhp to fill the gaping hold between the standard GT and the GT500. Mach 1 or Boss, anyone? Whether we'll see this before the '09 refresh is another matter, but the arrival of the 400bhp (as standard?) Camaro means Ford will have to be on their game to keep up.

There's a 5.0 350hp Huricane engine on the way. whether it will be in the Bullitt (which should surely have a 4-barrel....)seems unlikely as I think they'll save it for the facelift. On the other hand, Ford et al have never been shy in letting the customers develop their cars for them....

Personally, I'd never have a green car.
