What petrol for my XJ8?

I have an XJ8 3.2 and I use everyday unleaded petrol, is this OK?

shouldn't do it any harm at all, I use normal unleaded in my V12 and if going out for a 'special' run put super in. Sometimes it seems a bit more responsive dependant upon weather conditions.

When I bought my XJ6 (X300) the salesman at the garage said just put normal 95 octane (UK octane is not the same as US octane) fuel in her, putting SuperPlus (98) would just be wasting money, the car is setup for 95.
