Another in my occasional series of appalingly bad photographs: Lovely elan spotted in highgate a few Sundays ago. Caddish looking 3.4 Mk II in the same area Yesterday. Spoke to the owner briefly, nice chap, fitted with long range tanks, bonnet louvres etc (the Jag, not the owner). Also spotted while supping a pint: Series 1 Etype fhc, early 70s Corvette Stingray and a lovely pre-impact bumper 911.

I had the dubious pleasure of driving one of these many years ago, Eastern Electricity in Norwich did some promotion work with them and as my OH at the time worked for them, we got to borrow one on the condition we used it as much as possible. It was, err, interesting but not something that I'd need to repeat. They're quite collectable now though.

The Father of a friend of mine has a Stag which looks almost identical to that one - he bought it fully restored after a few years of Porsche 911 ownership.. He lives in Nottingham though so won't be that one.

loc done well to get those shots as by the possibly (illegal) show plates it might only come out with the sun
when even pre-73 cars were new they'd most likely have reflective plates when new
no disrespect to the owner but it's not as rare and interesting as some of loc's other vehicle spots

Spotted this on the M25 anti-clockwise this morning - turned off somewhere around Heathrow. Driver was not hanging about either - in the outside lane most of the time - I had to raise my speed by 20mph to keep up (btw, before someone says anything - a passenger took the photos)

Think Bugatti cast wheels; chrome wires are for E types I have it on good authority that Bugatti owners will pay very strong money for properly aged dirt, this car's far too clean. It's a nice looking thing for high days & holidays, but the real thing it ain't.
