I think the Land Rover was one of the "Our Classics" from Classic & Sports Car magazine?

Run by Martin Port or James Elliott?

Great spot.

It's neither of them but the Publisher of the mag. Martin used to have one very similar but sold it.

(I used to work there).

Thanks for the reply - I couldn't remember who it was and my old C&SC have been recycled.

It sure does. Ten a penny at one time and now a rare site on the roads.

And if I am not mistaken, that looks like an aftermarket "Smiths" heated rear window.

The heated rear window was a lot more common than those wheels and tyres

Two excellent spots. Nice to see.

Back in the day, had a Maxi for a while. Impressive use of cabin space and forty years ago, a decent car to drive from every aspect. Cabin space: An art lost today on many modern cars.

When I lived in Essex, Classic Ford Capris like that were a familiar sight.

That's the most apt number plate I've seen on a car in years...

Actually, that is "Martin's", he sold it to the publisher! Brave lad when the salary review comes around if it has any problems.

I think the Maxi made tow car of the year every year. Do I also notice the left indicator on as well?
Or was that an signal to pass?
