Hello all,

Just wondering does anyone know a good mechanic in the general Berkshire/ Bracknell area or nearby who works on Alfa Romeo cars?

Not neciassarily a main dealer or anything, more someone who for example can be trusted for fit new cam shafts and belts.

Cheers.

You could try Keith Turner from Auto Integrale Auto Integrale clicky. He's more of a Lancia man but I reckon that he should be able to do something for you.

Ralf.

Cheers chap. I'm after someone to replace the factory cams, might as well get the timing belts done at the same time. He's only about 5 miles away from where I live

I've always used SP McAuley in Thatcham - 01635 860 592. Never had any issues with them and pricing always seems reasonable.

Oooohhhh you've got a rather nice GTV, and been to AD with it! I've been thinking of getting the supercharger kit for my Spider 2.0ln can I pick your brains?

Alfa Aid in Maidenhead are pretty good especially when it comes to little things that others miss.

Not so cheap though as the owner has an F355 to run! At least they always tell you which new part of the Ferrari you just paid for

You want the guys between Hook and Basingstoke on the A30.

Can't recall the name - but Google will be your friend.

Do you mean Alan Gibson (main stealer, or at least used to be) or AH?

God no - not at all. I'd personally not touch them in a million years!

I'll see if I can google them tomorrow (I had their site bookmarked until about 3 weeks ago!)

Another recommendation for AI from me - they always did a sterling job on my Fiat Coupe and they are well known amongst the Coupe club and Lancia fraternity. I've also seen plenty of Alfas in there in my time. Later in the year I hopefully will be getting a GTV V6 and I'll take it down to them.
