Is it possible to get a child car seat in the back of a Coupe? Two children under two means that there are very few options when it comes to interesting or fun cars...

I can get 3 drunk women in the back of mine, so it must be possible, for advice on what fits I'd go here www.fccuk.org/forum/ubbthreads.php

Definately possible. I can get child seats in the back of the GTV and there's infinitely more room to play with in the F-Coupé.

Best to take the car with you to a reputable shop (specialist kids shop or John Lewis etc) and get them to test-fit a few models until you find the one that is right for you.

It's more the other way round - we have car seats, and cars that fit them (Fiat X1/9, Punto, Skoda estate, pickup truck).

The Punto and X1/9 should both go and I'd like to replace them with something interesting, that can still take two kids and two parents at a squeeze.

Yes you can, it can be a bit of a pain squeezing (sp) the seat in but once in it is fine

Yes, we fitted Maxi Cosi Priori XP in our Coupe. It was fitted by Mothercare so we knew it was ok. Can be awkward lifting kids in and out of the back as they get older and heavier though. Prams in boot are not a problem either if you pick the right one.

That's what we've got, excellent.

Now... does anyone want a used X1/9?
