Just a thought, I have been trying to find another person to join Evolution as a valeter/detailer for a few months but its hard to find the right person.

Looking for someone who is enthusiastic, into cars and has a license. Work will be mainly mobile detailing and valeting to our high standards. We are not a sponge and bucket business and do not do 10 minute 'quickies'.
Experience is preferred but training will be provided. We will also train to use machine polishers, Paintshield installation, paint sealants and other fields we get into such as Smart repairs etc. All will be to a high level.

If anyone knows someone who may be interested then please either email or contact us on 0800 612 0900 or my mobile 07778 163942.

regards

Kev

What's the salary likely to be, if it's worth giving up accountancy for, i'll gladly do it!

Do you get to drive your cars?

Would you accept somebody just for weekends?

(I've always wanted to do something like this, but really so I wouldn't have to pay to get my car done!)

The insurance have specified a minimim age of 21 for the van unless I want to have a huge excess but for the right person I could be persuaded.

As long as the person is not afraid of hard work, very customer friendly and enthusiastic about cars this is really the only stipulation. Any experience is a bonus.

We do get to drive clients cars occasionally but I have very strict guidelines as to where, who and how this happens.

Weekend work could be available as the unit in Norwich is open for clients who want their vehicles looked after whilst they are in the city.

It is a rewarding job as you do get to look after a dazzling array of vehicles but as business goes, we also look after the average runaround too so can't promise it will be wall to wall Bentley's or Porsche's.

i take it this is self-employed too?

i looked into valeting before and it wasn't good money, nor was the costs for buying your own cleaning materials etc.

anymore details on location?

is it mobile visits or fixed?

If it wasn't so far from me - Norwich is a bit of a jaunt - then I reckon I'd be interested.

Best of luck finding someone.

No this isnt self employed. It will be employed by Evo with an hourly wage based on previous experience.
We are based in Norwich and offer a mobile and fixed base in the centre of Norwich. From here we carry out paint correction with services such as clay barring and machine polishing with Porter Cable machines. We also install Paintshield anti stone chip film at the premises.

The new person will eventually be trained in all these aspects plus others we are getting involved in but all to a high standard.

Above all is the enthusiasm seen here on this forum. I have lost count of interviews where the candidate has no interest in cars at all.

Apache...thanks..
