PK500 Spotted & Westfield near Soham

Hello! It really is a weekend of spotteds.

Anyway, spotted PK500 just outside Soham on the bypass behind a long line of traffic at about 3:30pm today (& flashing furiously)

Just 2 minutes before spotted a rather noisy Seven type - think it was a Westfield - was it Boosty?

Then 5 minutes after seeing Paul, flashed by a silver S1 Elise with red roof & followed through Newmarket.

Scott wasn't with me as he's at home transplanting engines into a friends Elise. I ended up driving about 80 miles round Cambs - very enjoyable.....in fact I think I'm going to go out again now....

Sunday I was grounded so the se7en wouldn't have been me. Thankfully my lockwiring kit has turned up now so I'm back on the road again just as the weather goes flaky. Driving home tonight might be interesting, what with the slippy roads and a turbo that is right on song again, at least until the nuts find a way to break out of their lockwired prison. I predict some sideways fun

Do you have an original zei220 with the faired in front suspension. If so I have one as well and there are not many around I only know of 2 others.

I know of about a handful of zei220s out of the dozen or so that were made but I've lost track of most of them now. Mine is L16COS which was the zei220 demonstrator/prototype/press car but it got a new chassis and tub 5 years ago. The engine is the original though, or rather it's the original Ford Motorsport components that I've built up to the current spec. You can find details of my car at http://www.g2.nu/chris/westie

Ah yes thats one of the cars I know of. Checked at your website many a time. You have done a lot of good work on that car.

I believe my Dad has exchanged mails with you in the past as well.

The other I know of is owned by a chap in the WSCC its a green one. Looked totally orignal when he go it.

Ours is in the garage at the moment getting a new head gasket and cam belt.
