Hi guys and girls,

Anyone go along to Brands this weekend for the Classic Sports Car Club race meeting? There was a superb mix of cars out and about and I hope some of my photos do justice to them. A couple are attached below and the rest are on www.snappyracers.com

Thanks for looking!

Brilliant photos Jon, had a look on your site and they all have turned out smashing considering the crappy weather on the first half of the Sunday. There was some excellent racing, particularly in the dunlop saloons, and it was my first time at Brands too!

I was in the pits most of the day working on my mates Tin Tops car (broke a driveshaft during quali), looks like you didn't catch it in any of your photos unfortunately Are there any more other than those on your webby? I'm after the Pollard/Reading yellow and black Polo.

Great photos Jon,

I was there running may mum in her Lancia Beta,

And my dad in his Lotus 7 on the Saturday.

The guy who had the accident in the Camaro is ok but the car isn't as you can see.

Hi mate,

I do have a couple of you somewhere but didn't put them on the site unfortunately. If you want me to put them up online so you can see them then let me know. I only put a small selection up onlione as I have about 1000 images from the day and that would kill the website quite quickly!

And it was my first day with my new 30D aswell so was struggling to get it to do what I wanted to do. Not happy with some of the colours but that's something to play with at least!

Haha I don't want to imagine the bill for your website traffic if you put 1000 pics up laugh It'd be great if you could put ours up somewhere though, making the best of a bad weekend and all that! Thanks

Would that be the reason it was revving in strange places coming down Paddock?

I was shooting for the Dunlop MN Saloons so didn't take too many of you boys in order to save battery and card space. Got the flamed up Maestro making a mess though!

Will do the gallery tonight and let you know the address. Think I have at least 1 although will have to see.

Brilliant, thanks

The reason for the dodgy revving was our clutch was slipping like mad, brought it in a few times and even pouring coca cola into it didn't help (thanks to the proton boys for that particular tip)! Ended up last but we lapped around 13th.

Haha Brill! Thanks very much! I'll show them to our man Mr Pollard in the seat later, see what he thinks of them!
