Once upon a time, at the Coys festival, or whatever it was called in those days, you could camp in what I guess is the car park - head for the main gate and go across the grass to the right.

These days their website just shows details of temporary sites that are nearby - Whittlebury, Litchlake etc.

Can anyone confirm that it is no longer possible to camp in the car park, or whatever that area is?

Maybe I'm just showing my age by thinking it might still be possible!

The reason for being there is the club have a stand, so I will be with the car on the infield (I think) - do they allow camping there?

If not we'll have to go for one of the off circuit sites.

Thanks

For the Britcar 24hr a few people just pitched up infield and nobody seemed to ask any questions. For the Classic though which apparently gets a big crowd I doubt they'd allow it.

We camped at Whittlebury for the GT racing last weekend and for what it's worth the site is alright. I'm aiming for the Classics this year aswell so will probably camp at the golf course again.

Thanks. We'll probably be at the golf course as well.
