Valencia streets to host F1 GP
Discussion
Was about to post this. What happened to BE's determination to move races away from Europe into 'developing markets'? Not that I have an objection to that venue as it will be good to have another proper street circuit in the calendar. Shame there's too much red tape and too many fat fingers wanting a slice of the money for there to be a London street race.

I think Bernie has finally lost his marbles!
Let's hope it's a good circuit, Formula One needs more interesting places to race, but for Bernie Ecclestone to have even considered this judging by the way he has taken F1 over the last 5-10 years is incredible!
Frankly, the money they will pay to host the race is small change to a man worth £2bn and no real motivation to do it.

Bernie puts F1 where he perceives the TV audience to be. Spain is up for two GPs now that Alonso is a local god. Germany will now revert to just one GP.
Never a truer word written. Funny how Germany has lost two races and now Spain gets two.
Bernie, we can all see that you have now set a precedence... big miskate little man!!!
OK everyone put your hands together and pray like bloody mad that Lewis becomes World Champion because Bernie will have to give either Donnington or Brands the European race, or even turn London into a street circuit for the second race for the UK.

does this mean its moving away from the nurburgring?
I think Hockenheim will get dropped, they've had some money problems hosting the F1 in recent years.
But it might not be called the German Grand Prix as I think the Hockenheim circuit owners has some rights over it or so I've read.

My prediction is that Hockenheim will go bankrupt within the next few years and close down. An exact copy of the situation at the A1 Ring.
Classic GP circuit spends million in emasculating itself to suit Bernie's requirements. Track ruined. Owners in massive debt. Bernie walks away.
The end.

I nearly cried when I first heard that they were 'returning the old Hockenheim to nature'. So much history in that circuit, such a great track.
