Fuel Problems ?

Drove down to London at the weekend for a wedding and the car seems to have developed a fuel problem. The car accelerates and pulls fine and ticks over with no problem but when de - accelerating, when coming to a roundabout for instance the revs drop down to 500 rpm and occasionally the car stalls. Bit puzzled as the car is behaving fine apart for this and the fuel filter was replaced at the service a week ago.
Not sure if you've worked out the problem yet I had something similar last year by the sounds of it. Turns out it was a build up of 12 years worth of gunk in the bottom of the petrol tank that was getting sucked through the filter and into the fuel pump. It was Mole Valley that eventually worked this out. Good luck!
