I'm surprised the German prison guards agreed to the arrangement.

I love the way that the owner was allowed one despite not being an officer.

Same watch was sold for $65k in 2006. Thats about £35k - so not a bad return if he gets £60k for it this year...

gonna read the article now but have to say ...

after bashing rolex earlier, that is one very very nice looking piece of wristwear ....

edit - great story too, even down to the watch staying with its owner till his death aged 90!! thumbup
