Bridgestone SO2 Tyres
Discussion
Hi,
I have been looking for some Bridgestone SO2 tyres size: 205 / 55 x15 and have been told they are no longer available, does anyone have or know where there are some available? I am looking for two minimum.
Also if I cannot get hold of any, what is the best replacement for SO2's?
Cheers,
Tony.

They look my old wheels and tyres!
I had Reveolution 15" 7J on the front with Bridgestone PP SO2 205/55 and 15" x 9J on the rear with Bridgstone PP SO2 225/50
I sold my car about 3-4 years ago and I understand that then parts got removed off it and sold seperately with the wheels/tyres ending up in Dorest on a V8 M series car which then got listed on eBay.
Is this the same car? If so I'm glad my old wheels are still in circulation, no pun intended!!!!

Davidy,
It looks like I am keeping your wheels in circulation, but need to find a couple more tyres for the front. I have done a lot of work sorting out the suspension and handling of the car which is now greatly improved, in addition the engine is now a John Eales 3.9.

Pleased to hear it. My car was very sorted handling wise, will a full Adrian Venn Leda Spring/Shock setup, but the biggest difference was when Adrian cornerweighted the car for me (with a driver of my weight in the drivers seat). It then went like a big go-kart and you could really lean on that rubber (it was also running a fair bit of neg camber at the rear). After it was set up it would go through the Cramer Curves at Donnington at over 100mph genuine and no lifting!!
Once it's properly setup you will be able to keep pushing the boundaries of grip, but beware with that amount of rubber when it lets go, it goes very quickly!! and the wet can be a bit of a giggle with some very lurid slides at fairly low speeds!
All the best
