So there I was in the GT2 yesterday on the A414 and a blue TVR appeared in my Wing mirrors
dont know what model it was but the Mrs said " Darling there is some blue thing behind us "
- dont worry I will see him off dearest !
after a few moments he was still there !!
then came a long right handed with a few vicious bumps in the middle and low and behold no TVR
I thought he missed a gear and stuck it in reverse !
Why do TVR drivers give it all the biggie in a straight line ?

I'm not lucky enough to have a GT2, but recently I decided to buy a TVR after a 5 year gap. Had a drive in a fantastic looking T350 on an 03 plate, went like shit off a shovel on the straight, then had a test drive in an 03 Boxster S, nowhere near as quick, but boy oh boy did I enjoy the handling, I'm now the owner of a Boxster S and a converted Porsche fan

And that was a bumpy road in a GT2!Imagine how far behind he would have been if you were driving a re-mapped tt...dont know what model it was but the Mrs said " Darling there is some blue thing behind us "

perhaps due to a lack of ABS / TC / PSM, etc, etc, which helps even your granny seem like Alain Prost.
Well, I had no problem keeping up with an SLR on the way to supercar sunday 2 years ago, even round a bend! ......and before anyone say anything, yes he was trying!
At the end of the day, it's not just the car, its also the driver. You might have had more tallent than that particular TVR driver, as it sounds like you are such a god at driving!

Johno, would that be the 964, of which Porsche finished production in 1993, so a 14+ year old sports car that had some engine work...outrageous build quality
