Mat of mine was at the factory just before Easter - reckoned the production line and half finished cars were still there and the plan was/is to break them for spares rather than finish them. Apparently there was quite a bit of kit still there, shame the new owners can't find a better way to deal with the assets they've bought........

Apparently all unfinished cars where moved to another location in Lancs along with everything else, before being moved again to an, as yet, unknown location.

The plan, as I understand it, is for all unfinished work to be completed by Bertone (in July) and used for dealer demos.

I mentioned that to Adam Burdette on Saturday and all he said was that contracts were signed two weeks ago and he expects to see completed cars coming out of there in July.

There are a few obvious things regarding this supposed american arm of the company. First of all there has been lots of media attention surrounding it but never mentions anywhere how to contact these clowns. Secondly there are dealers appointed but unless you happen to see it advertised on the dealers site no-one knows who these dealers are. What cars are available to order from these dealers are not road legal or complient (from the dealers mouth...well the only one i could find). So far there has been no professionalism from these guys in anyway shape or form and lots of false promises and no action.

the bit about the cars being used for spares,

i have heard from a reliable source that this is true, certain ex blackpool automotive staff are working for do. ns is not funding this and their wages have to be made selling the spares.

better say allegedly

Good man. It's nice stuff, is Yuengling.

Pity Mr. Burdette is going to get the same treatment as anyone else who signed a contract with TVR lately. The shaft.

apart from its not TVR doing the shafting, Adam Burdette has a completely unique way of shafting everyone he deals with

To be frank, it seems to have gone a bit quiet on the new TVR front.
True, but after some of the stuff that was spouted previously and then not backed up with evidence/action, that may not necssarily be a bad thing.
