I know about the Col du Vence, but any others (that will suit an F430 rather than a hot hatch or Caterham)?

Thanks! Do you know the name of the nearest town or the road you took? How far was it from Nice/Cannes?

Try the motorway A8 from Monaco towards Genoa. After 15-20 minutes into Italy the motorway is so twisty you have to use the brakes in an Alfa 159 hire car! Choose a quite time when you can use all the road and its magic. Don't know what the Police would make of a 120mph dash in a 430 though!

I will second this, its a fantastic drive, Merc & BMW test there in September

Bedoin is the nearest town & can provide a great lunch. Ive driven it at day & night, on a clear night its the closest you can ever drive to the stars, at least thats how it feels but at night watch out for wildlife, you get foxes, rabbits Deer & Im told although never seen them wild boar. Ive driven it for the last 4 years & still love it, you can also go up & down a different way to add to the fun

try this link for Bedoin & they navigate the other links for a bit on Ventoux, its a cyclists mecca & the surface is fantastic, just watch out for 50 mph bikes straightlining the corners on the descent.

To wet your appetite I think the first car on this clip is running up Ventoux during the annual hill climb http://videos.streetfire.net/video/ff0c3901-0b0d-4...
