Hi i have a problem with my S type R ,3 sets of front disc's in 10,500 miles
all changed under warranty but fault always returns. Jaguar say everything is within spec and it is because i have Arden lowered springs on the vehicle, has anybody had similar situation or problem?.The springs were fitted by the well respected jaguar tunning guy's RGC and 4 wheel alignment checked after fitting so no problems there!!Just wondered what you guy's thoughts are on this ?.I think my next step would be to refit original springs then see if this cures the problem but this could prove expensive and ruin the stance of the car.Does anyone know how Arden stand with jaguar warranty i thought i have read that jaguar will still honour it with Arden uprated parts ?Any comments are welcome chaps many thanks Lee.

Hi, you do not state why they are being replaced, i presume due to judder. Are you bedding the discs in correctly, ie no heavy braking for 500 miles, were the pads replaced each time? i have had a build up of corrosion on the hub to disc mounting face, which causes judder, but not straight away. Have the dealer check that the mounting faces are spotlessly clean.
I would say you are lucky Jaguar are honouring your warranty if the car has been modified, just the kind of excuse they would normally use to void it!
I think the best bet is to return the car to RGC who modified it and ask for their opinion, they probably are more clued up than a standard dealer.
