Just found this:

www.webuyanycar.com

Had a lot of fun putting in car details (and bum phone numbers/postcodes) the valuations they come back with are very funny biggrin

Suppose the trouble is that some people will get ripped.

BTW don't bother with specialist stuff, they just tell you that they will get back to you.

If it's:

a. Repost then I'm sorry, but I hadn't seen it before.
b. Not funny for you - sorry but I thought it was funny.

This thread would be a lot more bearable if you told us some of them.

I put my car details in some months ago and they came back with less than half what parkers did. Parkers reckond 4.5k and these guys wanted to buy it for £2,150....

Just looked at mine and not bad at all, as long as they honour it and I don't see why they wouldn't as my current motor is immaculate and very low miles ......and they have something of interest to me.

Not too far to visit either.....

Are these a reputable company? It seems a rather good way to find out who's got what car & where.

I.e. 50K Porsche at SW15 7RT or something like that.

Bit dodgy.

Yes I was very suspicious so used a different post code to mine.

Think the 'best' one was my K plate BMW 520 that they valued at £45 - cheeky sods biggrin

It's a car supermarket so I think they favour late low mileage stuff, mine came back at a good figure and it's in that category (similar to what they market - family cars).

Mine came back at £1920, I got offered £2000 at a garage for a trade in a month ago, so I guess its pretty accurate. I wouldnt trust parkers either, its way off sometimes.

3.5 for mine, which is a good 500 or so below what I'd expect to get part-ex.

L Reg Volvo T5 - £290.

They may as well have insulted my mother's reputation whilst they were at it.

Ha ha ha, £100 for mine.

Especially dodgy site as getting errors on the security certificate for the site as well. (But then I doubt they are going to come and nick my car smile

They offered me £16,800 for my 4 month old Mercedes B class which must be pretty close although they didn't have anywhere to take account of the exact spec.
