£40 was a bargain for 1 hour on the track.
I did just over 50 miles including going to fuel pumps for a top up.
lap times around 1;50
top speed 110.
I got it wrong a couple of times.
so i can find my limits.

Shame i coudn't catch that blue BMW.laughlaughlaugh

rofl

Nigel and I came up the back straight doing in the region of 120/125 mph and saw someone waving an orange and yellow flag like a lunatic so I turned to Nigel and said "What the hell does that flag mean?!" only to turn the corner and see mud and grass EVERYWHERE!

We were pretty sure that the car that had spun off had collided with the barrier but clearly not, so good work Dave! thumbup

Would that be the same Robatr0n who sat in smug silence when the briefing official asked "does anyone NOT know what all the marshalling flags mean"? laugh

I have to say, I was bloody glad that marshal was on the ball, as "change to track surface" was a bit of an understatement! yikes

that must be why i spun off.

YEH Thats my new excuse
"there was mud and grass on the track "
and the marshall never waved his flag
causing me to spin off

i saw a flag later .

I watched you hooning round for quite a while mate, was impressed with the 2000 smile

I think almost every time you went round, the exhaust note was slightly more raucous - got some dodgy baffles in there old boy!?

How did the brakes hold up?

Possibly! hehe

As I say, I have never seen that at any other track days before but now I know it means "You won't be coming out of the next corner alive unless you slow the fudge down!".

AND I was the mad one for letting him drive my 2000 mile new car around the track ( with a smile/grimace ) on my face for an hour hehe
