2 Problems...rolleyes
I have a Vectra B & I have a flat spot from 3500-4500rpm.
Is there a software upgrade available to get rid of it from Vauxhall?

Also, possible fueling the flat spot...

a cracked exhaust manifold on the rear bank- can it be changed without dropping the engine?
Specialists have said its a 6hr jobyikes
Vauxhall quoted me £130- althought this was provisional as they could not be sure they were going to snap any manifold bolts.

Can anyone advise on the best way to go?

Cheers

I gather that by mentioning the rear bank its a v6?

Assuming that is correct then yes the manifold can be done but you would want a ramp so you can get underneath it (not a job to do on your back at side of rd). Vauxhall are right about the manifold studs though its common for them to snap which can turn the job into a right pain.
