I posted this thread on teh Porsche Club GB Forum alst week and thought I would also sharew it with a broader audience. I hope it may help some of you out.

In the nearly 4 years I’ve had this 996 type 911 it’s had really bad swirl marks all over the bodywork and to be honest its really bugged me. No matter what I did they would not polish out. It had became really frustrating that despite all my efforts – nothing got rid of them!. Sad I know, but I really enjoy cleaning my car but there are limits to what I am able to do.. Unfortunately my limits are set by my back, so there is no way that I can spend hours and hours polishing, otherwise I would either spend the next week in bed or in hospital! Forget it!

It was my wife Ann Marie who suggested I call in the professionals as she had been mightily impressed by a company demo (can’t remember who) using Zymol products at Highclere last year.

I asked on this forum if anyone could recommend someone based in the north west where I live (between Preston & Blackpool) and a forum member emailed me with a recommendation to try Matthew of ‘Off Your Marks Detailing’ based in Glazebrook, Cheshire. (www.offyourmarks.com)

I spoke to Matthew on the phone and he seemed a really nice guy. we arranged for him to come to my home where he had my double garage to do the business to my 911. He works on his own and had been doing it for quite a few years, but only professionally for the last 6 months or so. He came fully togged up in the Zymol clothing and a really well presented dark grey van decaled in black and silver. He had my full faith from the start.

The results were absolutely marvellous and I can highly recommend Mathew if you want a fastidious and detailed job doing on your car. I’m definitely not a photographer so I hope you can make some sense from my photos.

Nice result there Pete smile One of our members recently discovered the excellent service of Matt and the Zymol range.

We'd done the evo triangle a few days before as well, and the car was very mucky!
