Hi,

I purchased a 2000 W Reg 2.0 T Spark Spider two months ago. Two days ago my car started leaking fluid close to the front passenger side wheel, under the engine bay. This leak was very minimal and cleared up yesterday. However when I started the car this morning, the clutch was depressed about half way and was not returning to the normal position.

I suspect the leaking fluid was Hydraulic fluid from the clutch? Is this a common problem on the spiders, and does anyone know a good garage near Highbury, North London where I can get this fixed???

Thanks,

Rhod

The slave cylinder has died, not unknown on modern Alfas.

A slave cylinder is about £30 IIRC from EB Spares,Alfashop etc, etc, and it's an easy job to change even for the novice DIY'er smile
