Does anyone know of a live Le Mans video stream available on the web...? Only got Freeview here and there's not likely to be fanny adam on there I expect.

TIA,

It,ll cost you from here but.....

http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/pages/livebar...

....you get live timing and scoring plus video etc. etc. I think the cost is about €12.

Thanks Nigel - I'll check it out. If it works over my ADSL link then €12 is a bargain.

Cheers

There was a German and Danish stream last year. One high res, one low.
Hopefully (for those stuck home) something will be available this year.

Six Euros with tax possibly? for coverage of the race. You can test your broadband connection to see if it works, mine does so I might give it a go. Whats happened to Eurosports'coverage? It looks like the race is only on Motors TV but I haven't got Sky frown

You can stream the start of the race for free from here;
mms://80.160.76.117/tv2live6
but I think that will only cover the first few hours. There are rumours that it will be possible to stream the full race from a danish tv station but I don't have any hard evidence on that front yet.

I'll let you guys know if I find anything more.

Anyone tried SpeedTv's on demand service? They are scheduling live interactive cams.

All good stuff chaps. Keep it coming, we'll find one stream working between us I am sure. Slightly off topic, but I have a free-to-air digital satellite receiver and a motorised dish. Are there any other satellite bouquets apart from Sky I can get Le Mans on for free...? Is Motors TV only on Astra 2 at 28.2°E...?

Okay guys here it is! Your guide to getting the race for free without having to pay sky a penny.

1) Download the TVUPlayer P2P video streamer and install it on your computer

2) When the time comes go to MyP2P
Scroll down the page and find Le Mans which is being broadcast on Wheels and click the TVU link which should launch
the channel in your TVU player and hopefully all being well you will get free awesome motorsport (even if
you like me are anti-diesel favouritism).

Sorry it is not the full 24hr continuous but the are several programs each a few hours long.
cavebloke

I should just add this will give you access to grand prix practices and nascar as well as tons of other non-motorsport type sports.

Agreed. Cavebloke gets my vote for PHer of the week. Nice one. Deserves a pint or three.
