What is the easiest way of getting, say, another 25-30 bhp from a GP, anyone know?
Simple remap or smaller supercharger pulley?
Or both? !

Maybe your best bet would be to speak to Roland at GTT? His user name on MINI2 is Roland2003... or maybe try contacting him through the company website GTTuning

He would probably be able to help you out, he knows his stuff. His latest work is a 300bhp turbo conversion for the R53 MCS.
