How much to change the colour?

My current cerbera is burgandy wine which I don't like.
As I doubt I could sell the car and get a better one without spending a lot of cash I have sort of come to the conclusion that I should keep it and change the things I don't like about it. the colour is a long way up the list.
Any ideas how much it would cost to get it nice and black

There's plenty of choice if your patient - it took me about five months to find the combination I liked. The fact that it was a 4.5 aswell was a bonus.
ah yes I know but hate is a strong word, more dislike and I'd rather it was a different colour than I cannot live with it. I bought this car because I know it very well from new (it was a friends car) and history is important so that played a big part. Also the fact that he needed to do a deal in a real hurry so I got it for a very good price (very good
). The idea was that if I liked the Cerbera thing I would trade it in for a newer one after a year or so. I may still do that but I think that if I do I'll have to stump up another 10-12K to see any improvement over what I have, and then I'll have the history to worry about, still want to upgrade the dampers etc, etc.
This is just playing with numbers, I might decide I can live with it, after all I don't look at the outside much and the inside is biscuit leather which is fine.
I have followed mikes thread on respray, however he was not changing the colour.
Comments etc? Please fire away.

Hi David, I have a rosso pearleascent cerby which is many different shades of rosso (long story) and it has reached the point were it deserves a respray. I had been quoted about 16-1700 for simply painting the whole of the outside in the same colour or 2-2200 for a full respray including inside doors, inside bonnet etc.
So I then thought why not get it painted a new colour - just left the car in this morning for changing it to a metallic orange and got a revised price - £3-3500. Apparently the increase was due to the fact it was a pearl paint and a lot brighter than the original, and quite a number of coats would be required to prevent the rosso coming through.
Given that I'm changing the lights to zertec and that I've just had to fit a new clutch and new shocks so far this month, I don't think it worth the money to change the colour.
So just getting same colour again, and it will be ready in time for croft.
I suppose if you could find a colour the same tone as your burgundy the price would fall somewhere in between.
