What sort of power-to-weight ratios do your cars have? And what ratio would you like to have?

My Legacy:

155 bhp / 1330 kg = 116.5 bhp/tonne

That STi Impreza I'm being tempted by (see trademe car thread for details):

280 bhp / 1200 kg = 233.3 bhp/tonne

So how much can you beat me by? hehe

Elise is 135bhp and weighs about 690kg making 195bhp/Tonne

Forthcoming Exige will be 192hp and about 760kg making 252bhp/Tonne

Exige will then go on a diet to improve this wink

Don't know if mine counts anymore as I've pretty much sold it, just waiting for a deposit from the buyer...

509 BHP / ~1040 kg = 489bhp/ton

I'd really like to have a go in one of the TT versions of the GTR that are around now, i.e. one with > 1hp/kg...

For the MR2, it's 130bhp / 950kg = 136.8

For the scooter, it's 4.5bhp / 65kg = 69 biggrin With me on board, that drops to 30 frown

115 BHP/tonne (150 BHP in 1300kg)... about 210 Nm torque in a very flat curve... I wouldn't mind more power but there isn't much point if I can't get on the track. Not to mention the fact that I would be throwing away another couple of grand on stamp duty if I changed... good incentive to modify what I have!

About 310 bhp unmodded but add air.co, AWD, 4WS, turbos, intercoolers, extra pipes, active suspension and exhaust and it's about 1600 kg empty!
