.Mark and me took a step back from organising last year and White Van Man led us although I went along as usual.

Anyone want to carry the torch this year?

I've been practicing for the pitch and putt. yes

Curses! I am hoisted by my own petard! getmecoathehe

I blame my co-driver... winkhehe

Ah well - we all got there. If I end up leading the convoy again I'll actually practice the route the week before like I used to do...

...but if there's someone enthusiastic out there ( shout DustyC, White Van Man) who wants to organise...

Thought this was worth a bump - dates will drive whether we can get involved or not.

Aha , remembers everyone screaming down the A303 to Andover, before realising Petersfield was in the other direction. What was the official route from Basingstoke to the Seven Stars pub ? Plus the roadworks in Petersfield for the second leg was a bit fun

It normally starts at Basingstoke, heads off to the 7 Stars nr Petersfield and ends up at Hayling Island. Its a cracking day out and is worth the trip.

Over the last couple of years its been held on the 1st or 2nd Sunday in September!

Don,

Do you reckon it could be a remote organise ? If so I will put my hat into the ring and ring round a few bods - Hate to see PotB die ! I reckon I can remember enough of the route to arrange a few meeting points - M40, A34, A343, A303, A350, B3081 (ZZH cloud9), B3078, A31, A3090, A272 and the traditional route into Hayling sounds good to me,

Proposed date of 9th September so as to miss BNG and allow a bit of time for peeps to clear their diaries ?

Blinkin 'eck - just noticed the date and no POTB in the diary by the look sof things!!!

ANYONE INTERESTED? Usual thing I would expect, Don to start the troops in Basingstoke, quick pitstop at the Seven Stars nr Petersfield and then off to the beach.

Come on, you know you want to - Sunday the 9th of September seems to be the date

Don - You out there, give me a call on the mobile if you can!!
