Capel Manor this Sunday

I hear the Jct 25 for Capel Manor off the M25 from the east is closed (and the entry to back to Dartford), so I am thinking which is the best way to go? Through the city centre, Blackwall Tunnel - A12 - A10 or M25 past Capel Manor then turn round at next exit then come off at Jct25 Eastbound or go clockwise round M25 (seems a long way round!).

Anyone travelling up from Kent I can hook up with?

Hello mate, I'm in Crayford, whereabouts in Kent are you from?

Kev (the MOC Kent area rep) and the rest of the Kent boys normally stop off at the Esso garage on Princes Road, Dartford at 9:00 to pick up more cars. Then it's a case of following the M25 to junction 26 and coming back one junction to Capel Manor, as you mentioned.

I'll check with Kev to see if he is still meeting up at the garage and let you know.

I'm due to meet a mate in Barking, so will probably not go that way myself. It would be easier to get on the A406 and head up the A10 from his house.

Hi Steve, I'm in Ashford, I might drop Kev a text to check the arrangements, I didn't really fancy going through the city, mind you I don't like the M25 either!

Travelling west past Capel to J24 and spinning around there is only a 7 mile detour. Hardly seems a lot of effort really. And, if you time it right, you may hook up with other cars and establish a mini convoy from J24 to J25.
