Any recomendations?

We've just bought a hoose in the west end of Aberdeen, its in a conservation area so needs suitable windows, sash and case etc.Can anyone recommend any window companies?

We also need new pipes, heating, kitchen and bathroom plumbed in - so like wise with recommended plumbers!?

Cheers

Any good joiner/carpenter will make a set. Easier to make up a set of wooden ones for a conservation area, to match with existing. Traditionally probably softwood but a hardwood frame will last you a hell of a lot longer for not that much more. Low eGlass is also thermally good and sits in the right price bracket. Velux have some off the shelf products if you go down that route. Planning prefer a less visually intrusive window unless headroom is an issue for roof spaces.

I used a carpenters, i think in Montrose, for a conservation project a few years ago who were V good and surprisingly cheap. Will dig out a name and number, when i get a minute..
