I'm currently looking at a 2002 Cooper S with 61,000 miles on the clock, i'm fairly sure it's going to be fine but is there anything i should look for? i'll probably be replacing the supercharger with one off a newer model as the internals are better, but that wont be for 6 months so will the old one be fine or will it be a little worn out?

Has anyone on here got a 60,00-70,00 mile cooper S and have you got any experiences to share?

a mates cooper s (02 plate) has done about 85k most of it thashed and about 6 or so track days its also been running 245 bhp for most of this (still on the stock charger thow)only issue hes had was a spark plug blow out of the head recently and needed it re threded think it was about 800 quid or so but aside from that hes car has been fine hes also been runing since about 40k miles thr GTT 260 conversion i drove it on track last year and it still felt relay sharp in short a good s will hold up shop carefuly if its been serviced properly i reckon a few more inbetween oil changes would do the world of good thow
