How about the EERC running spectator coaches during the free practice sessions as done at Japan GT last weekend? (Numbers permitting wink)

F*ck my old boots !

Let me get this straight, you pop a load of folks in a 52 seat coach and sling them in the middle of a test session with a load of race cars hammering along at 150mph.

Someone`s been playing on their play station far too long.

On the other hand why not make it compulsory to have a passenger seat and carry someone with you, you could even extend it to the race it`s self smile

There were actually 6 coaches out on track but they only did a couple of laps.

Can you explain the EERC insurers role and what it provides for?

You're probably not going to get a reply from Kevin or Andy for some time as I assume they and the rest of the team must be rather busy getting everything ready for the 25h fun cup at Spa this weekend.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that The Davis Group are the EERC's insurers, though they may handle the insurance of individuals, which, I imagine, is not a matter for public discussion.

I certainly hope that nobody involved in any way with the EERC will respond to these irrelevant demands for information about the club's private financial matters.

What is it with this semi aggressive attitude?

Someone posts up an idea to promote the 24hrs and in reply there was a statement suggesting that the EERC insurers wouldn't be happy. All I did was ask why, as in what do the insurers provide for. It wasn't asking for chapter and verse about the clubs financial affairs.

Surely there is nothing sinister in asking the question, especially as there was some talk about making EERC competitors taking compulsory insurance in 2008...

That #4 coach driver has got some good body roll going on there. Look at the angle of him on his seat. He looks like he's keen for a late braking manoeuvere at the next corner biggrin
