Follow my basic rules for events and gatherings

Take a hat & jacket
Always charge camera/camcorder batteries the night before
Always make sure memory cards for said applications are all clear
And after all this, make sure you pick the camera up and take it with you as I know a friend of mine went to all the trouble of doing all this only to forget the thing

I know what you mean with the last minute thing

I attended a hillclimb recently, literally at the last minute because I was supposed to be meeting a friend there and I had forgotten about it

Grabbed the camera and blazed off towards Harewood....ended up having to borrow some batteries for the camera, from one of the Marshals I know who's son uses the same camera.....I forgot to bloody charge them up the night before

This FastFest thing looks somewhat similar to Ten Of The Best

Yeah it was similar. I always forget to take a camera, always end up buying one when i go abroad.

I did go, but is it worth posting any pictures in my mind the show was crap..... The racing trucks drag racing was the highlight from me.....

Other than that i thought it was a poor show.... I have been to 3 shows at santa pod this year and to be honest they have all been lacking in cars, trade stands, show content.....

from the pics ive seen they should have had less ugly bitches getting their norks out and more decent motors the F1 car was proper lame

the 205 gti that i did the scumball 3000 in is featured a few times! i was supposed to be driving it, but i was busy. not really my scene anyway. i like corners!

nicola - you should find ya times out on the day? you go to
the registration room and they give you a ticket with your
60ft - 1/8th - 1/4 times and speed on i belive. (tbh i have
never run been been there LOADS with others that have). dont
think they keep the times after the event, i dont know

I was the driver of the F1 car and we had a nightmare getting it running!!! We had some battery problems that caused our running to cut short...We also had traction problems that caused a massive amount of wheel spin which obv made us lack speed.
