Hi all,
just thought I would post up some pics of my mitsubishi colt czt. had it about 6 months now and loving it! All standard and will probably stay that way unitl at least the warranty runs out. Performance is plenty good enough for me anyway
For those who don't know its a 1.5 turbo makes 147bhp and about the same in lbs of torque. Weighs in at 1070kg I think so it goes quite nicely.
HUGE inside considering how small the car is which is one of the main selling points for me being 6ft5. I don't even have to have the seat all the way back
All comments good and bad welcome thought it would make a change from all the suburau and MR2 talk on here

got a mitsi dealer where i work. there's a model out called hawk or black hawk or something like that. it's black with a couple of viper style stripes and some nice alloys looks nice!
i don't mind the CZT but i feel it's a bit tall and it's basically a smart underneath puts me off also. the performance though cannot be bashed as the lil beast will keep up with my 328 BM to about 60 anyway
nice lil cars and yours looks pretty good even if it is standard. push that boost up though! and have you been following the CZT in banzai? worth a read for some ideas on mods ect.

yeah the black hawk is a limited run with those nice alloys, not convinced about the stripes though.
Personally I like to think that the Smart is a mitsubishi underneath and not the other way round!!
Agreed it is rather tall but thats what makes it so nice and rooomy inside. the czt doesn't look so tall as the standard car though with it being slightly lower and bigger wheels. the proportions just seem better.
At the moment its still a bit tricky to tune, Dastek have just released a piggy back chip and there is at least one remap for it that I know of. 200bhp is acheivable but much more than that and it needs a bigger intercooler and the clutch doesn't last long apparently.
The banzai one i have been following. the evo style bonnet is my fav bit

cool, still for me as long as it's a jap car being enjoyed then it's all good in my opinion!
one thing i miss having a BMW is the tuning options and knowledge of the owners clubs that i had access to when i owned an MR2 Turbo.
there's so much for jap cars compared to german cars. plus the BM is a bit dull too.
still no doubt my bum will be back in something jap again one day
good luck with the colt mate and keep us all updated on it's progress nor matter how minor the mod!

Which bits are shared with the Smart then? Excuse my ignorance but the floor plan doesnt look the same and the engines in a different place.
I've heard that mentioned before though, so I'm happy to learn!
Nice car by the way, but why did Mitsubushi put that awful steering wheel in it?

Thanks for the nice comments.
yeah, its the forfour it shares its base with, although I don't think you can get a three door forfour. Built in the same factory in Holland and as said shares most of the same components.
The steering wheel is not as bad as it looks in the photo!
I wasn't keen on the interior at first but now I really like it...

Sorry to drag up an old thread...just thought I would post up some pics of my mitsubishi colt czt. had it about 6 months now and loving it!
Got me one of these a few months ago. Admittedly, I've not had any particularly interesting cars in the past, but this is by far the most fun car I've ever owned. Not without a couple of faults but overall a great little thing!
Also looked at the suzuki swift sport - a seriously fun little car. But this was faster and cheaper so a no-brainer really.
Still seem very rare as well - I've only seen one other. And the speed seems to surprise rather a lot of more, err, "upmarket" cars
Glad to see manufacturers are making small, quick cars again.
