Help with 1981 Mini colour

A mate of mine (The Jensk - some of you will know him) has a 1981 Mini HL Estate in this colour.





He needs to know what the colour is called, as he needs to get some paint to do the new rear doors. We think it's Mace, but haven't found any piccies to confirm or disprove this.

Can anyone supply a picture of a car in Mace, or alternatively offer any suggestions as to what else the colour could be?

Its like a flat dark version of sandglow.
Wonder if its a mix of two tins........

Nah, original colour apparently. Not stamped on the vin plate, the paint section has been left blank for some reason.

Can't find a pic - it is really quite a rare colour and was only used for a year or two. But it is Mace, paint codes AMP or BLVC367.
