Thanks, Dave & Diane, for a great drive there and back. Here are my photos - rather a lot, I'm afraid, and some out-of-order, somehow, but a few good ones, I think.

Yep great day was had by all...until my coming together with a kerb at said pub car park

1 new exhaust on order and quote for the small repair to the underside of left body and I think its gonna cost me approx. £1000

Cost is high mainly as its about 12 hours labour and due to the cost of the paint per litre.

Oh well they say these things come around in 3's and with 2 punctures already and now this...how unlucky can a guy be

Some good pics by the way.

Alan.

Glad you all liked the cakes - even offered PetrolTed some but Mr Big had wandered off with the keys to the boot Sorry Ted.

Think our next outing for the Tuscans will be Rockingham but some of us will be at Biggleswade this weekend - might try a chocolate cake this time.

Sorry about the one of Diane looking at Bert's gearstick! It looks like one of those invasive pictures of celebs from the tabloids, taken from extreme distance. I messed-up the posed-for picture. All those nights in bed with the manual, and I still don't have it sussed!

Well you know if it is not ready my Mr Right (as in Mr ALWAYS Right) will be telling you where you should have taken it to be done - having had his rad replaced in a day.

Apparently......there is a new version of the Cerb radiator......made of ally......same as the engine block....less corrosion supposedly............

GOOD GRIEF....I leave all the techie stuff to Ray.......anyways.....they say they will fit it in amongst all their other jobs..........

It was done and dusted by 9o/c this morning.....RAF sorted it...nowt to do with me.

Pauline
You can rely on Darren at Castle - if he can prize a shock out of Blackpool for us I'm sure a radiator will not beat him.
Hope you do make it to BSD or I'll have to do my R O impression again - are you listening TdF?
