Odd cameras on A41 southbound near Brent Cross flyover

Anyone seen the 5 or 6 grey cameras on the south bound approach to the Brent Cross flyover?

anyone care to guess/know what they're for?

Yes I saw these this morning. There's more of them on the A406 heading towards Ikea.
Dunno what they are, but I don't like the look of them. They're probably errected by the forces of darkness in an attempt to extort more money and make life on the roads ever less pleasant...
If anyone knows for sure I'd be interested to hear. In the meantime I reckon proceed with caution...

I posted the same thing over the weekend as I'd never seen them before. Maybe Specs - only they aren't painted?! I thought it was a bit odd there were four of them on a three-laned road.

Further on this. The cameras in question look suspiciously like Kengestion Charge cameras, but if so what are they doing on the A41 and the A406? Does Comrade Ken have plans to further expand his wretched charging zone?
Anyone got any info???

I noticed a PIPS van and a man fitting some of the latest PIPS ANPR cameras up on the M27 the other week, it appears the new breed of ANPR cameras are now being fitted up around the country without anyone being told, wonder whats going on?
