They also get fully televised practice sessions.....and NO JAMES ALLEN

Luckily you didn't understand the commentary. The technical boffin car drone on for ages about the flexibility coefficient of the carbon fibre suspension arm, interesting for the first five seconds then it becomes akin to listening to the Queen's Speech while watching paint dry (a problem compounded by the fact that the sport you're watching doesn't tend to be much of a nail-biter)...

Footage on RaiUno is exactly the same as the footage you get on ITV methinks. The footage we get on Sky is another matter...

Don't worry, now that the Hamilton effect has kicked in and with the USA GP getting 7+ million viewers SKY will obviously outbid ITV when the contracts are up for renewal.

I think Sky tried to outbid ITV last time but because of all the advetising (on the cars and around the track) they want the biggest audience possible and sky's audiences are too small.

I have Sky Sports, so them winning it isn't as much of an issue, but I still would rather it stayed on "normal" telly, but only if the coverage gets back to a decent level. It really is god awful at the moment.
