Rear Window Clip

Has anyone got a rear window clip as I closed the boot on mine and broke it?

I've tried dealers and breakers and no one seems to have any.

Hi Conor, I had a similar problem but Henley managed to sort me out though I think they have now run out. They seem to be few and far between

How is it broken ?.
If its the block cant you "super glue" it.
I was thinking of making new ones but I havn't had the time.

Do you mean the alloy one or the later plastic variety?

Mine are warped, so I'd be interested in replacing mine as well if you find a source. (Plastic ones on an '03 car)

I broke mine in the same way and was charged £50 for a replacement pair from a breakers yard! Rip off I know, but its all about supply and demand I guess.

Anyway, I have a spare one, PM me and you can have it for free.

£50 for a pair of clips sounds like a ripoff. Hernley only charged £12 for one clip which was fitted as part of other stuff beening done.
I would have thought a breakers yard would be really cheap - especially as they wouldn't have fitted them - or am I just being really naiive.....

I will get hold of my contact and see if they can make some up. I am assuming alloy is preferential? If so I will make sure they are anodized as that makes them harder. Black acceptable?

CF is not strong enough for this application as the diameter of the clips is too small I suspect.

Don't know prices at the moment.

I would be interested in new rear window clips as the orignals are flimsy and I am sure they will break at some point.
