Fintray Hillclimb Resurfaced?

I have read on another forum that Fintray has been resurfaced.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hadn't heard that but the ball bearings at the hairpin maybe need replaced

I think they are in the process of doing as we speak but am sure trevor will confirm that.

I have just received my GAC newsletter in the post and I can now answer my own question.
The newsletter shows pictures of the resurfacing being done and says it should be finished in early July.

Hi Folks
Fintray now completly returfed from top to bottom both sides.
With only 5 bodies present and only 2 of them for the full 6 hrs it took us I am writing this in a standing position as I can't bend down to get into my seat my body aches so much.
22 pallets worth of turf laid that would have covered half of Hampden.
You better turn up and enjoy a week on Sat or else.

Bad news is I will not be at Fintray, good news - for me - is I will be sunning myself in Dubai seeing my grandaughter for the first time.
