Thanks to the efforts of PHer white_van_man, PistonHeads has been invited to appear on BBC TV to celebrate the delivery of the new Yorkshire Air Ambulance- bought after many users dug deep after the Hammond crash.

The aircraft will be presented on Thursday 26th July at Gloucestershire Airport (where it has been kitted out for YAA).

While our bloke white_van_man is being interviewed, the BBC would like three or so PH cars alongside the helicopter- proper PH stuff. I have a few Tivs, BMW's etc but I REALLY want a Porsche there as they are such a big part of the site

Can anyone make that date- we'll sort out something for your trouble.

Thanks!

G

I can bring my black 944, tho due to a cock up with parts, I shall have to drive it by yanking string through the window to rev the throttle.

As I live in Gloucestershire and only 12-15 mins from the airport, happy to offer (if required or needed) my hairdresser's Midnight Blue C4 Cab? Might be worth popping along anyway to have a gander as can sort something through Kemble airfield (I assume) as their preferred charity is another Air Ambulance that has had enough of our own cash.

Any independents or OPCs down that way? I'm sure they'd be grateful for the publicity....

I'm a bit late off the mark, but I've got a recently detailed black 996 Turbo I'd be happy to bring along.

To be in with a chance of having your car on Top gear call 09998 676742 or text "retirement-fund" to 007985. Calls cost £5 per minute and lines close at midnight (although we`ll probably make the draw about lunchtime so we can knock off early).

Kind regards, the BBC smile
